Getting started.
Sign in, configure WHOX, create your first agent, and complete a useful assignment.
Open your workspace
Sign in to WHOX and you will arrive in the shared workspace. The left sidebar contains your agents, archived agents, Activity, integrations, and settings. The center panel is the conversation with the selected agent. The right panel opens that agent's computer, routines, and settings.
If this is your first visit, finish onboarding before assigning work. Connect a model provider, choose a default model, and confirm that your plan has room for the agents you want to create.
Connect a model
- Open the menu at the bottom of the sidebar.
- Select Models.
- Choose a provider and complete its sign-in or enter the requested API credentials.
- Select a default model for the workspace.
- Close Models when the provider shows Connected.
The workspace default is used unless an individual agent has its own model selected.
Create your first agent
- Select Create in the sidebar.
- Enter a short name, such as
ResearcherorChief of Staff. - Add a title that states the agent's responsibility.
- In Description, explain what the agent owns, how it should work, and what a finished result looks like.
- Choose whether it uses the team computer or a dedicated computer.
- Select Create.
A useful description is specific and durable. For example:
Research market questions using reliable sources. Compare evidence, cite every important claim, call out uncertainty, and deliver a concise brief with recommended next steps.
Assign the first task
Open the new agent and write the outcome you want. Include relevant context, constraints, deadline, and delivery format. Attach source files with the attachment button when needed.
Compare our three closest competitors. Use the attached positioning notes, cite current sources, and deliver a one-page brief with a comparison table and three opportunities by Thursday.
Send the message and watch the conversation for progress, questions, tool activity, and results. Use Stop if the task should not continue.
Review the result
Check that the result answers the assignment, uses the requested sources, and clearly distinguishes facts from recommendations. Ask the agent to revise anything incomplete. Repeated corrections belong in the agent description or memory so future work improves.
Next steps
- Learn how to create and manage agents.
- Configure models, tools, and computers.
